Night Visions

Night Visions is an audacious dance duet that ventures into the enigmatic realm of dreams, challenging conventional compositional structures and embracing the absurdity and mysticism of the subconscious. In this daring exploration, the choreographic process and performance defy traditional expectations, leaning into what might be a dramaturg's worst nightmare—an unpredictable and dreamlike journey through the surreal.

The duet unfurls as a series of whimsical and illogical sequences, where the dancers navigate a shifting landscape of fragmented realities and bizarre scenarios. Drawing inspiration from the nonsensical and often inexplicable nature of dreams, the work deliberately eschews linear narrative and established choreographic forms. Instead, it immerses the audience in a world where logic is suspended, and the rules of movement and interaction are fluid and malleable.
